Courtney Blackburn and Joe Czekner choose a Narragansett historic structure as the backdrop for their early May wedding. Located at 35 Ocean Road in Narragansett, Rhode Island, ‘The Towers’ has served as a prized location for weddings, receptions, engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, and other special occasions for more than a century - Designed and built originally as the Narragansett Pier Casino by famed McKim, Mead, and White between 1883–1886.
Courtney + Joe utilized this historic landmark for both their ceremony and reception. The ceremony was held on the patio overlooking the garden, while the Great Hall and its sweeping ocean views provided the perfect locale for the intimate wedding reception.
As a non-tradition couple, Courtney dawned a pale pink dress, groomsman wore a mix of greens and blues, and the adorable duo said ‘I DO’ alongside their good friend who had been ordained as '“The Dude,” a-la “The Big Lebowski.”
I was honored to be a part of such a beautiful day filled love and laughter. Just goes to show, you don’t have to have a sky filled with rainbows and sunshine to enjoy such an epic day.
